1921 Duesenberg Model A Coupe 'Custom'
This Model A was the first Duesenberg to be sold, ordered in 1919, delivered in 1921.
Custom built to accommodate the owner's 7-foot tall stature, ordered in 1919 and delivered in 1921.
James C. Castle, Jr. and his wife Cyrann decided to donate this to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum after 99 years of single family ownership.
At some point the rear-end was converted into a truck, but the family decided to have it restored to original 1921 'new' specifications. Complete body-off restoration took 3 years and over $1Million.

Newly introduced in January 1922, was called the 'Beauty-Six Sport'.

The Model A was the first passenger car to bear the name Duesenberg.

1930 Ruxton Roadster
Owned by Andrew Adler of Millbury, Ohio for more than 50 years.
Many of the Ruxton's featured Woodlite headlights giving it a more exotic appearance.
When Mr. Adler restored it, he placed the body on the Ruxton show chassis, which had never been used.
Compared to the Cord L-29, the Ruxton is lower, lighter and better balanced. To achieve this balance, the transmission is divided into two pieces by placing low and reverse gears in front of the differential, and second and third gears behind it.
